Prior to establishing her own firm, Ms. Valenzuela was an attorney at Minsky, McCormick & Hallagan, PC where she concentrated her practice in the area of immigration. Ms. Valenzuela attended DePaul College of Law, graduating in 1996. In 1985, she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in Accounting from St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, Indiana. Prior to completing her law degree, she worked for over eleven years in the Information Technology field as a Programmer/Analyst. Ms. Valenzuela is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois. Ms. Valenzuela was awarded the 2005 Distinguished Service Award from the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foundation and the 2006 President's Award from the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois. She is bilingual in Spanish.
